I knew I had to work on my birthday, so Tobias humoured me and joined me for a ski tour a few days earlier. Fabulous weather again of course, but more or less crappy snow, though we found enough of something resembling powder toward the end of the day for a few high-speed turns. I didn't know it at the time, but this was to be my last ski tour for the season...
